GRANGEMOUTH PETROLEUM AND CHEMICAL COMPLEX MAJOR INCIDENT CONTROL COMMITTEE (MICC)
Thursday, 19 May 2011 14:26
COMMUNITY WARNING SYSTEM TESTING WILL TAKE PLACE at 7.00 p.m. on WEDNESDAY 1st JUNE 2011
When all seven warning masts installed for use in the event of a major toxic gas release will be activated and tested.
The system transmits warning tones and verbal instructions to the community. There will be a test transmission, clearly stating that the activation is a test and the public are required to take no action.
In the event of a real emergency taking place during this time, the transmission will clearly indicate such an event and you should take the appropriate action.
