Falkirk East MSP, Angus MacDonald is encouraging local charities and organisations in Falkirk East to apply to the Postcode Lottery’s Dream Fund to help launch their project.
The Dream Fund, now in its third year, has a £400,000 funding pot which offers charities and organisations the chance to work together and apply for up to £100,000 for an innovative 12 month project that can either encourage active living, bring communities together, tackle climate change or expand life opportunities in their local community.
Organisations have until 31 October 2012 to apply and more details can be found on the Postcode Trust’s website: www.postcodetrust.org.uk/dream-fund
Commenting, Angus MacDonald said:
“This fund offers organisations in Falkirk district the opportunity to obtain grants for a project which can encourage more active living, tackle climate change, expand life opportunities or help to bring the community together.
“I know that local groups across the area are always looking for funding to help push forward their projects or get ideas off the ground, and the Dream Fund could help this be achieved.
“I hope communities in Falkirk district are successful in obtaining funds from the Postcode Lottery and we will see even more charities and local groups working together.”
