“Our NHS in Scotland is the public service which people all around the country rely on the most, at different times in their life. It belongs to the public and, therefore, it is important that the public have a say in the direction and shape of our health service across the Forth Valley.

“This position on the NHS Forth Valley board, as a non-executive member, is a great opportunity for anyone with an interest in how the NHS works for the need of all who will ultimately have to depend on it, and I would encourage anyone who cares about our service, and who is able to provide any meaningful input into how it is driven, to apply for this position.

“The NHS is a fantastic asset to Scotland, and anyone with a vision and a passion for it can help to make it even better.”
