MACDONALD URGES “CARE ABOUT THE NHS? BE PART OF THE BOARD!”

SNP MSP for Falkirk East, Angus MacDonald, has urged anyone who cares about and wants to help strengthen NHS Forth Valley, to apply to become a member of the board.
NHS Forth Valley are currently looking for a new Non-Executive member to join their Board. It is a challenging and rewarding role which provides a fantastic opportunity to help shape the delivery of health and care services across Forth Valley. With the local health board looking for people with a wide range of different backgrounds, skills and experience, the Falkirk East MSP has encouraged applications from those who have a genuine interest in health and public service.
Speaking on the vacancy, Angus MacDonald MSP said:
“Our NHS in Scotland is the public service which people all around the country rely on the most, at different times in their life. It belongs to the public and, therefore, it is important that the public have a say in the direction and shape of our health service across the Forth Valley.
“This position on the NHS Forth Valley board, as a non-executive member, is a great opportunity for anyone with an interest in how the NHS works for the need of all who will ultimately have to depend on it, and I would encourage anyone who cares about our service, and who is able to provide any meaningful input into how it is driven, to apply for this position.
